The Plough is situated 8 miles south of Peterborough on the B1095. It's a privately owned free-house and is a typical country house with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.
The Plough is renowned for its great food and guest ales.
There is also a beer garden, and a children's play area.
An Events Field is also available for hire, for instance, to private parties for 200 or more people, biker rallies, scooter rallies, live music, festivals, weddings, and much more! |

The Problem
|
Colin Harrison, the owner of the Plough, already had a website. it was very basic in design and it ran very slowly. At times, it was unavailable due to being hosted by a free web host which did not allow for advanced scripting and fast bandwidth that commercial alternatives have to offer.
Colin asked for a website that would work effectively and stay on line.
He also wanted the facility of being able to keep his website up-to-date in respect of forthcoming events and menu changes. |

Our Solution
|
The solution to Colin's website problems was, primarily, to totally re-design the site to effectively portray the uniqueness of this typical country house with a five-page website.
The hosting problem was easily solved. By subscribing to the Vantage Hosting & Maintenance package the server space is guaranteed to host his website (up-time is now no longer a problem) and by taking advantage of the allocated "refreshment" time he has been able to keep his site up to date with events and menu changes. |
