The Old Ship Inn
The Old Ship Inn is situated in the village of Pointon which is seven miles north of Bourne on the B1177.
The age of the Old Ship is not known and although the deeds only go back as far as 1921, it is certainly much older, perhaps even 18th century. It is listed as the Old Ship in White's Lincolnshire for 1856 and the victualler at that time is named as William Hackett.
Currently, The Old Ship Inn is a chef owned business – Andrew and Gale O’Shea – and they specialise in meat and sauce dishes at very good prices. A mouth-watering example from the extensive menu is the Prime Aberdeen Angus Sirloin Steak served with a choice of garlic butter, pepper and wild mushroom sauce. |

The Problem
Gale and Andrew O'Shea the owners of The Old Ship Inn wanted a website to promote their Bar/Restaurant and more especially their speciality meat and sauce menu.
They were concerned that, as the menu is changed on a fairly regular basis, that it could be changed very easily. |
Our Solution
The Old Ship Inn website was designed to reflect its ambience and, n easy-to-use content management system added to the site to enable Andrew and Gale to personally keep their extensive menu up-to-date. |
