C K Direct are a UK company based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. They are manufacturers and suppliers of ventilation and extraction systems - either bespoke or flat pack - on behalf of the commercial kitchen environment.
They have established themselves as a leading supplier of commercial kitchen extraction systems. The company has had previous experience in the supply of catering equipment but since 2002 concentrated solely on offering commercial kitchen extraction systems, with canopies.
The canopies are made with 304/430 Grade Stainless Steel. |

The Problem
|
CK Direct approached Vantage Web Studios. They already had an e-commerce website but it wasn't working effectively and clients were finding it difficult to purchase anything from the site.
The Directors of CK Direct requested the facility to be able to up-date their website with new products and prices.
They also requested a three step Design Your Own System. The 3 step process required a choice from each step before you could move on to the next step. Step 1 - Select The Width of Hood From The Options - once selected you will be taken to the Step 2 - Select The Output Application - once selected you will be taken to Step 3 - Finalise The Order and Add To Basket |

Our Solution
|
A fresh and modern looking website has been created - we were able to use the existing content and re-design the newly created website around what was available to us.
A content management system was provided to enable the Directors to change/add products and prices.
The functionality of the existing website has been improved. This has resulted in visitors to the site being able to navigate around the site much more easily - possibly, more importantly, they are able to utilise the "Design Your Own System" and make purchases from the site via the Shopping Basket. |
