SUMMARY

The whole of Vantage Connect can be summed up as a Distributed Framework. This Framework is then shared with all our clients' websites. Any up-dates to the Framework instantly get added to every website built on top of the Framework. Should an error occur then it can quickly be fixed across our websites by using Vantage Connect. Improvements can also be distributed to all our clients. It saves time and increases accuracy and the benefits are also automatically passed on to our clients.

APPLICATIONS

An Application is a pre-built group of source codes that produce a "bolt-on" that the end user can use such as, for instance, a blog, site map, events, newsletter, photo gallery, portfolio and guest book. These are built into Vantage Connect and can be distributed and installed very quickly on any site utilising Vantage Connect. Applications can be created on demand if we don't already offer it - JUST ASK!

DYNAMIC CONFIGURATION

Depending on the environment your website is running in, such as production or development, Vantage Connect is capable of re-configuring itself according to the environment. The advantages of this reduces errors and saves time.

FUNCTIONS

Snippets of code that fulfil a specific function are made available to all sites using Vantage Connect in a way that allows them to be re-used - again saving time which in turn saves our clients money.

CLASSES

Using groups of snippets of code, that all work together, to fulfil a specific task such as a database connection, data sanitisation or even file manipulation.

ROUTINES

Executes source code that needs to be run on every site which helps ensure high security and protection against attacks such as XSS (Cross Site Scripting) and SQL injection all of which many sites fall victim to. Vantage Connect protects all our clients against attacks such as these. Other benefits include processes such as making a connection to a database, initialising the site and generating traffic reports.
